Herdar Zakkanelik was a famous writer in the 19th century in Kirmora. He produced many written works such as poetry, poetry, and opera scripts. In addition to being a writer, Herdar participated in the resistance against the British at that time by writing poetry that raised the spirits of the people and folk stories that fostered a sense of patriotism. His best-known work is a poem called Lannen (Motherland) which was later adopted as the official national anthem in 1993. Long before that, when Kirmora gained independence in 1799, the country did not have an official national anthem. Until finally, during the reign of Meritian Kalakemik, prime minister for the period 1990-1993, Lannen's poetry was adopted as the lyrics to the official national anthem which is still used today.

O our great beloved land,

Our blessed glorious land

O high rocky sea with holy waves and wind

Our shade in the storm, our savior when attacked

Giver of happiness, prosper'ty and peace

Your seas, your forests, your rivers, and your mountains

Blessed Kirmora, our noble land.

O our almighty God,

Our light from the fear

The light from this islands, will be comin’ here

Thy name in the glorious place we should be there

There is an earth heaven, there is Kirmora

Your fields, your flowers, your wheats, and your farmers

Blessed Kirmora, our noble land

O law from this nation,

Guide us from darkness

Vox populi vox dei, people must be free

The freedom for them within they house and land

Kirmora protects us from evilian hands

Your men, your women, your children, and your kingdom

Blessed Kirmora, our noble land.
